The British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVRLA) is the trade association for the vehicle rental and leasing industry in the UK. Chief Rentals has been a BVRLA member since 1995

The BVRLA has nearly 800 Members who between them run more than two and a half million vehicles and who buy more than 44% of all new vehicles sold in the UK. In doing so, they spend in excess of £15.4 billion each year on vehicles and around a further £4 billion on support services.

In combined fleet sizes, BVRLA Members represent 85% plus of the UK car rental fleet, more than 65% of the UK commercial vehicle rental fleet and over 95% of the UK leasing and contract hire fleet.

All BVRLA members must adhere to the mandatory BVRLA Code of Conduct; it is the code by which Chief Rentals and all other members conduct business.
