Credit Hire

Chief Rentals has been providing Accident Replacement Taxis on credit hire for about fifteen years. Credit hire is a simple concept - essentially if you or your client has been in a Road Traffic Accident where they were not at fault, we can supply an Accident Replacement Taxi and allow a period of credit for the rental charges to be paid by the "at fault" party.

The daily hire rates we charge are determined by the Association of British Insurers' General Tariff Agreement, to which Chief Rentals is a Tier One subscriber. Under this agreement the "at-fault" party's insurer is invoiced for the car-hire at the agreed rates and the bill is settled directly.

When renting an accident replacement taxi on credit-hire from Chief Rentals the client will be asked to sign a credit-hire agreement that clearly lays out the terms of hire, the charges and the period of credit.
